Growth through Death
Many people who have had near death experiences affirm that dying has brought them a fresh new outlook on life and a loss of petty fears that previously blocked their abilities to enjoy what is of "real value." Accepting the process of dying can act a catalyst in allowing us to grow through positive change. By using this catalyst in a metaphorical sense, we can face turning points in our lives with a new outlook and view all changes in that new perspective. This one-day intensive will start with an overview of death. A video tape of the life and work of Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross will be shown as a point of departure on the healing aspects of death and dying.

Dr. Khalsa will guide the class in breathing exercises and body movements that help to restore our relationship between our physical body and the process of dying. There will be many opportunities to discuss our own experiences relating to death, such as feelings we may have from the death of someone close to us. The goal of this class is to learn ways to deal with our feelings in a very positive way and allow ourselves to enjoy what is of "real" value.
