Kundalini Yoga Teachers Training
Level 1: Foundations and Awakening

Master yourself and awaken your potential using the science of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.

This Teacher Training Program is for everyone, whether you would like to become a certified teacher or just wish to deepen your personal experience of Kundalini Yoga. Held in a beautiful forest refuge setting in Northern California, this course gives you a lifelong foundation for a successful yoga practice.

This training will take place over three separate 8-day intensive periods:
September 12th-19th 2010
December 12th-19th 2010
March 13th-20th 2011

This certification program provides the tools and comprehensive training to learn both the theory and techniques of Kundalini Yoga. In this very rare and special oppurtunity, you will gain the knowledge and self-confidence to make a difference in yourself and the world around you. You'll study and practice yoga with two of the world’s leading Kundalini yoga teacher trainers while still being able to maintain your work schedule and activities.

This program includes:
Associate membership in the 3HO International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA)
Automatic upgrade to Full Professional Membership upon completion of the Level 1 Teacher Training
Completion of the standards for the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification set by the Yoga Alliance, a national alliance of diverse yoga organizations.

The teacher training includes daily Sadhana 4-6:30 a.m.

Give yourself a stronger foundation fo a healthy, abundant life. This intensive, forty five day immersion in a yogic way of life is open to students of all levels who have a sincere desire to learn and to be of service on this planet thru teaching. Certificate given upon successful completion of this intensive.

This course includes an in depth study of pranayama, meditation, anatomy, physiology and philosophy, and supervised yoga teaching, six extraordinary weekend workshops ( see below) and
4-6:30 a.m. daily sadhana (yoga, chanting and meditation)

  2. Sacred Masculinity

    What does it mean to be a man? How can we tap into our innate potential, our true essence beyond power and control, a realm of intuitive higher awareness? COME AND EXPLORE:
    The aspects of masculinity which are found nowhere in the mass media. Learn what it means to be sacred lovers: aware, respectful, and generous beings.This workshop will include sound, movement, breathwork, humor and free flowing discussion in which we will explore our sense of meaning, purpose and belonging.

Teacher

Dr. Siri Gian Singh Khalsa, Ph.D. (Psychology) has been a student and teacher of Kundalini Yoga, meditation and tantra for 35 years under the guidance of Kundalini and Tantra Yoga Master Yogi Bhajan, who gave him his Sikh name in 1974. Dr. Khalsa spent many years living in spiritual communities and traveling abroad studying with traditional healers. He is also an experienced Reichian breathwork therapist, acupressure practitioner, and certified massage therapist. He has been leading yoga intensives and teacher trainings for more than 25 years. Today, Siri Gian Singh offers private breathwork sessions, teaches Kundalini yoga and leads workshops on yoga, live foods, breathwork, and other life-affirming practices.
