Pranayama Yoga Teacher Training
The Pranayama Yoga Teacher Training will be held at the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center near the town of Occidental, California. The Center is on 80 acres of breathtakingly beautiful organic gardens, wildlands preserve, and a most inspiring intentional community. In Nevada City, we’ll meet in a beautiful location, including some time outdoors by the spectacular Yuba River.
Welcome to the Pranayama Yoga Teacher Training program!
We will meet in person one weekend a month for nine months, starting on Saturday, September 20th (see full schedule below) This immersive journey is designed to help you take a deep dive into several of the world’s most powerful breathing traditions, including Kundalini, Reichian Therapy, Wim Hof, and the Buteyko Method.
You will discover specific practices to cultivate calmness, pleasure, wonderful sleep, clear thinking, and creativity. You will also experience practices to enhance meditation, grounding, and to deal with challenging emotions like grief, anger, and fear.
This training will gift you with many opportunities to get to know and love yourself on a whole new level. For example, experiencing the magic of breathing in sync with another person will open up deeper trust, greater self acceptance, and belonging.
This program requires commitment, including a new daily practice of Pranayama exercises every 40 days. You will be invited to teach these practices to become more competent and masterful as a Pranayama Yoga Teacher. You'll become part of a community of open-hearted students and fellow explorers who will support and inspire you for years to come.
This amazing training will also include delicious organic vegetarian meals from the on-site gardens of the Occidental Center for Arts and Ecology. To further help you relax and recharge, you'll also have access to a beautiful swimming pond, a sauna, a hot tub, and hiking trails.
